The Policía de Control de Drogas (PCD) del Ministerio de Seguridad Pública – Costa Rica’s anti-drug police, report the seizure of 978 grams of cocaine headed for Canada, Ireland and the Netherlands.

The seizures were made at the Juan Santamaría (San José) international airport.

According to the report, 513 grams of cocaine were headed for Canada distributed in four black plastic packaged hidden within roller bearings in four gears of machinery that was headed for Ontario

Another 267 grams of cocaine were found in two clear plastic wrappers, in between black carbon paper, headed for Dublin.

And the third, 198 grams of cocaine was discovered inside an envelope hidden within the pages of a magazine in plastic wrap, headed for Holland.
