With the increase in European tourists eyeing Costa Rica for their vacation spot and the option of no travel through the United States, airlines like Air France are adding additional flights to the country.
For the 2017-2018 season (starting October 28, 2017) Air France will offer one additional flight to Costa Rica on departure from France.
With the increased frequencies to 3 weekly services between Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and San José – Juan Santamaria (SJO), Air France will offer 2,808 seats per week.
Flights are operated on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays on departure from Paris (in local time):
- AF430: leaves Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 13:25, arrives in San José at 17:55;
- AF431: leaves San José at 20:15, arrives at Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 13:30 the next day.
According to the Air France booking page, the lowest fare (round trip per person at the time of post) is 1,507 euros for this month, dropping to 832 euros starting in October.
Air France began regular service between Paris and San Jose last November.
