With more than 900.000 American tourist arrivals last year, the United States continues to be the largest market source for tourists and the reason for the Tourism Insitute to continue promoting Costa Rica as a vacation destination.

The Instituto Costarricense de Turismo (ICT) said it will along with a gorup of private-sector tourism operators, is present Costa Rica at the Boston for the Boston Globe Travel Show 2014 (Feb. 7 & 8) and the Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show 2014 from this weekend (Feb. 8 & 9).

The fairs bring together wholesalers, travel agents, hotel operators, airlines and tourism officials, among others.
