The Costa Rican Banking Association – Asociación Bancaria Costarricense (ABC) – on Thursday offer the government of Luis Guillermo Solís a US$500 million dollar loan for infrastructure works and educational programs.
Initially, the government accepted the offer, but it won’t be up to three months when the agenda of potential projects will be defined
In that time period the interest rate will be defined and which state bank will manage the trust for each of the projects.
The proposal was made by the ABC’s president, Gilberto Serrano, to Predisent Solís and his economic team.
