Looking for something to do this Saturday, then head over to La Sabana park to take in a free concert and enjoy for 12 hours the music nine local bands, including the internationally recognized Costa Rican singer-songwriter and dancer from Escazú, Debi Nova

Debi Nova started as a backing vocalist for Gandhi, with whom she had the chance to open for Deep Purple. She also has worked with Ricky Martin, with whom she recorded a Spanish version of the song “I Don’t Care”. Nova made background vocals for Britney Spears in her song “Lace and Leather”, from her album Circus.


[one_third]The event kicked off at 10am and is open to the public free of charged. Some 10.000 are expected to attened.

The Festival de Música Claro will include the music of Gandhi, Malpaís, Patterns, 424,Cocofunka,Alphabetics and Fuerza Dread, , as well singers Xiomara.

This is the first mass concert sponosred by the cellular telephone operator Claro. The objective is to spread music produced locally.

The stage is located on the north side of the Sabana park, next to the National Stadium.
