Q COSTA RICA – The heavy rains this past week have caused problems all around the Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM) of San Jose, flooding of homes and damaged bridges, mainly in east side.
However, the worst may be Thursday afternoon’s flooding of Paseo Colon, in the area of Hospital Nacional de Niños (Children’s Hospital). The waters at some point were knee-deep.
The hospital reported its emergency room and basement flooded.
