TODAY NICARAGUA NEWS — (ACN) A group of Cuban specialists will arrive in Nicaragua on Friday to advise local health workers in the fight against Ebola.

7584-Cuba NicaraguaThe coordinator of the Nicaraguan Communication and Citizenry Council, Rosario Murillo, thanked the Cuban government and people for sending the experts, who will help train Nicaraguan public health personnel and those who have direct contact with travelers.

Murillo stressed that Cuba sent a 461-strong brigade to Africa to contribute to the world fight on the virus, PL news agency reported.

The Nicaraguan government established a special program against Ebola last week, which includes the strengthening of prevention measures, the setting up of an emergency staff and direct and permanent communication and cooperation with specialized entities.
