A total of seven people were killed during Monday (24) and Tuesday (25) December, according to Cruz Roja Costarricense (Costa Rican Red Cross).

The Red Cross is calling on the populatio to take extra care to prevent deaths and injuries for the remainder fo the holiday weekend.

Traffic injuries, aquatic injuries, burns and physical attacks are some of the emergencies that the Red Cross attends to regularly.
