This phone is characterized by the introduction of the Infinity Display, that according to the Samsung website, is described as “an incredible end-to-end screen that spills over the phone’s sides, forming a completely smooth, continuous surface with no bumps or angles. It’s pure, pristine, uninterrupted glass. And it takes up the entire front of the phone, flowing seamlessly into the aluminum shell. The result is a beautifully curved, perfectly symmetrical, singular object.

The device comes in two screen sizes: Galaxy S8 at 5.8 inches and Galaxy S8+ with a 6.2 inch screen.

The Camera. With Bixby Vision, Galaxy S8’s camera isn’t just better, it’s smarter. Just point your camera and Bixby will recognize landmarks, and even translate text. An advanced 12-megapixel sensor lets in more light, so your low-light pictures look brighter, with less noise. Dual-pixel technology keeps your shots clear and sharp, with less blur.

Power and reliability. The redesigned 3,000 mAh battery in the Galaxy S8 has been built to pass an 8-point battery safety check. This extreme testing process, followed by careful inspection, ensures that Samsung’s batteries meet the highest quality standards.
