QCOSTARICA TRAVEL – Southwest Airlines has published its initial flight schedule for international service at Terminal 2, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with daily service beginning Tuesday, April 12, 2016, from LAX to Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport (LIR) in Liberia/Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
The flight is still subject to foreign government approval.
The introductory one-way fare is as low as US$149 one-way for purchases through Feb. 1, 2016 and travel from April 12 through May 25, 2016.
Beginning April 12, 2016, Southwest® will offer daily, scheduled service from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR), with the first northbound flight departing daily the following day.
Southwest Flight 6920 departs Los Angeles (LAX) at 2:40 p.m. PST, arrives at Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR) at 9:10 p.m. CST. Flight 6918 Departs Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR) at 9:15 a.m. CST Arrives Los Angeles (LAX) at 2:15 p.m. PST.
In a press release, the airline says seats and days are limited for the introductory price. Fares may vary by day of week and won’t be available on some flights that operate during very busy travel times and holiday periods.
