presidente-costa-rica-viaja-cuba-visita-oficialQCOSTARICA – A total of 31 people will accompany President Luis Guillermo Solis’ visit to Cuba between December 13 and 15.

The Minister of Foreign Relations, Manuel González, considers the trip to Cuba is “a very different visit of all previous” because he said there has not been an official tour of island on the part of a Costa Rican president since the administration of Rafael Angel Calderon Guardia (1940-1944).

The visit is not only diplomatic, but aims to plant the seed in areas of health, sports, business, technology and tourism, education,” said Gonzalez.
