In this could only happen in Costa Rica department, I give you this image posted Thursday on Facebook by Accidentes de CostaRica, an accident that, well can only be called an act of stupidity on the part of the small vehicle.

It is clear that the big trukc was already on the bridge. Clearly the pick up should have yielded. Or was there speeding involved? The driver thinking it can squeeze through

Unfortunately, this type of judgement, combined with a lack of courtesy and respect is a daily common occurrence on our roads.

Thursday alone there were several accidents across the major roads, includng the autopista General Cañas.
