On Saturday, Zarcero inaugurated its first electric station or recharging center, ‘electrolinera’ in Spanish, for electric cars at the CoopealfaroRuiz R.L.

For the administration of the cooperative this initiative seeks to encourage users of electric cars to travel without fear to rural areas and additionally, in the specific case of Zarcero, promote tourism to the town.
