The heavy rains of Monday afternoon in different parts of the country have caused emergencies in various routes, the worst is the falling of the bridge at the famous La Paz waterfalls, linking the Varablanca to other communities in the province of Alajuela.

The Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Transportes (MOPT) report four other incidents on national roads, one on Ruta 32 (San José to Limón road) in the area of the cable car where debris on the road has restricted normal traffic.
