In Santa Ana, take out or eat-in, this IS the place for pizza. Yes, they have a lot of other dishes too, I just haven’t gotten past the pizza just yet.
Located some 700 metres from the toll booths on the road to Cuidad Colon, the staff at L’Italiano (the Italian) is friendly and ready to make your casual dining experience a great one.
No need to make a reservation, but if you want to enjoy your pizza without having to wait around, call ahead at 4031 2800. Visit their Facebook page for the complete menu.
Me, I still have some pizza in the fridge from last night and will be sure to get some later tonight. The “Di Parma”, with fresh Arugula, Prosciutto (Jamon Serrano in Spanish) and Grana Padano cheese.
And the pizza is 2 for 1 from Sunday to Thursday. The medium is ¢8,000 colones, the large ¢12,0000. Only two of the almost two dozen combinations not offered at.
So, grab a friend, head out to L’Italino and enjoy. Unless, of course, you want to take a stab at both pizzas on your own.
PS, this IS NOT a paid or solicited review.
