QCOSTARICA – Former President Abel Pacheco (2002-2006), saying “I expected a little more”, offers President Luis Guillermo Solís some sound advice.

“The echos from the people to reach Casa Presidencial must be listened to … Luis Guillermo listen to the people, the people are never wrong,” said Pacheco, who believes there are very specific things that people are asking of their president, although he did explain them.

The former president made the statement Wednesday night, at the Legislative Assembly, attending a tribute for him by the Partido Unidad Social Cristiana (PUSC) in the unveiling of a photo of him in the hall of Presidents.

Pacheco said he does not regret having given his vote to Luis Guillermo Solis (of the Partido Accion Cuidadana – PAC) to become president. “I know he is a good man, well-intentioned and honest,” said the former president.
