QCOSTA RICA — The printing presses of the Universidad Estatal a Distancia (UNED) is working at full speed in printing the new driver’s handbook.
The new driving guide has 200 pages, 83 more than the previous.
Items like changing tires, safety seats for childen and proper seat belt use by pregnant women, are some of the new content.
The new handbook goes on sale in early February and will cost ¢5.000 colones. According to the UNED, this is one of the best selling books in country, with sales of between 4.000 and 5.000 copies monthly.
The first print run is 100.000 copies.
