Joscelyn Eve Stoker, better known by her stage name Joss Stone, is an English singer, songwriter and actress. Stone rose to fame in late 2003 with her multi-platinum debut album, The Soul Sessions, which made the 2004 Mercury Prize shortlist.

Q24N | British singer Joss Stone will give a concert on January 27 in Panama and January 29 in Guatemala to conclude her Central America tour that began earlier this month, on the 15th in Honduras, 17th in El Salvadro, 21st in Nicaragua and the 24th at the Jazz Cafe, Escazu in Costa Rica, according to her website.

The renowned singer and songwriter is famous for soul, R & B and blues, and her emotional voice of mezzo-soprano.

Stone, 28 years old,  is promoting her latest album “Water for your soul”, which will take her also to Swaziland, Lesotho and Morocco, where she is associated with community activities promoted by Prince Henry of Wales, with whom she is romantically linked.

According to the singer, her passion for singing was born after listening to the music of Aretha Franklin and her first album The Soul Sessions (2003) is evidence of that and other influences.
