QCOSTARICA – If you live in the Central Valley, don’t expect much in the way of sunshine today (Saturday) and tomorrow, says the Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN) – national weather service, who is forecasting a rainy and windy weekend.
The rains are from a little drizzle to a moderate rain. In Spanish it is called “las lloviznas de Diciembre” (the December rains).
In the Central Valley (San José and surrounding areas), the IMN says we can expect a constant light drizzle, overcast and moderate winds. For the Northern Zone (Zona Norte), mountainous regions and the Caribbean, the winds will be stronger and rains moderate.
The Central and South Pacific coast will see an increasing chance of rain, meanwhile in the north, the Guanacaste area, it should be hot and dry.
This is normal weather for the change from the wet or rainy reasons to dry.
