It was on August 28, when a landslide trapped 28 miners inside the El Comal miners.

The stink from the possible dead bodies led rescue workers to beleive their were close, and medical teams were preparing for the recovery of the bodies. But nothing was found.

While families are still waiting for authorities to find their living relatives or dead, the population of Bonanza is using the municipal courtyard to pray, the community expressing solidarity by bringing them food and comfort to the huts where they remain waiting for their loved ones.
