QCOSTARICA – A garage full of stolen vehicles was the find during a raid of a house in Trinidad de Moravia by the Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) vehicle robbery division.
The vehicles, mostly high-end, had been stolen in Costa Rica and Panama.
The OIJ reports the arrest of a 47 year-old man (identity not released), who had been under investigation for allegedly receiving stolen goods, theft and fraud. The suspect apparently was in charge of receiving the stolen vehicles, then “twinning” the plates and registration and final sale.

During the raid, authorities report seizing five vehicles, two of which had been reported stolen in Panama and three in Costa Rica.
