Popeyes-Alajuela-recientemente-Lousiana-Kitchen_ELFIMA20140820_0003_16(QCOSTARICA) Popeye’s restaurants has become a big hit with Costa Ricans, the franchisee opening this week its seventh location, in Santo Domingo de Heredia, with two more coming later this year.

Virya Navarro, Popeye’s marketing manager, said construction is underway at the Radial de Heredia and Zona Centro Mall in in San Rafael Abajo de Desamparados, both expected to open in October.

“We are happy to be in Heredia with two restaurants, one of the fastest growing provinces in the country. With these openings will have more coverage in the province offering the quality of our products to entirely different markets,” Navarro said.

Currently, in addition to the new Santo Domingo location, Popeye’s is in Avenida Escazu, Mall San Pedro, Curridabat, Lincoln Plaza, and Avenida Central (the Boulevard in downtown San Jose).

The Popeye’s franchisee also operates the Dairy Queen franchise in Costa Rica, with two locations, Paseo de las Flores and Multiplaza Escazú.
