The driver of a vehicle took the scare of his life Tuesday morning when a rock fell on the car, after a landslide on Ruta 32, through the Braulio Carrillo National Park, which connects San José with Limón.
David Meléndez, director of emergencies at the Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Transportes (MOPT) reported that the landslide occurred at point known as “la vuelta de los sustos” (the turn of scares).
No one was injured.

The Ruta 32 was closed on Tuesday as crews worked on the clean up of the debris from the landslide.
Use caution while driving through the area.
