QCOSTARICA – The manager of the San Jose international airport put in action today a plan to minimize the impact of the strike byCosta Rican Oil Refinery (RECOPE) workers.
The director of operations at the Juan Santamaria international airport (SJO), Juan Belliard, said the strategy is to server aircraft gradually and asking the airlines flying in Central and South America (short flights) to carry a supply of fuel to their destination from Costa Rica.
Belliard said on the radio program Nuestra Voz, the airport has enough fuel supply for a week.
