Sting In Costa Rica Tonight!

Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, CBE, better known by his stage name Sting, (b. October 2, 1951), will take the stage tonight at the National Stadium in La Sabana (San Jose).

COSTA RICA EXTRA – In a few minutes, at 4:00pm, the doors to the National Stadium in La Sabana, will open for fans of Sting, who will, for the fourth time, take stage in Costa Rica for what is described a show “with a bag full of surprises and new music”.

The show is part of the British artist’s “57th and 9th Tour”, which touts his most recent musical production.

In a Tweet about a month ago, Sting wrote, “I’ve recorded a brand new version of the song “50,000” from my “57th & 9th” album. I’ve had a bit of fun writing a new melody for the verses and updating its lyrics.”

Sting is expected to take stage at 7:00m after a warm by El Show de Barraza. The promoter says the musical evening is expected to go until 9:30pm. More or less.

Currently, the sun is shining and the weatherman sees no rain in the forecast for La Sabana.
