QCOSTARICA – Sykes on Thursday officially inaugurated its new service centre located in San Pedro de Montes de Oca, specifically in the Sigma Business Center.

The company invested US$5 million dollars in the new service centre and plans to hire 900 people, in addition to the already 4,400 people working for the company in Costa Rica.

Positions range from customer service to sales and candidates should have at least a high school diploma and advanced English.

“Costa Ricans hare hardworking, honest and passionate and you cannot have a good customer service without such employees,” said Chuck Sykes, President of CEO Sykes.

In Costa Rica, Sykes has offices in Moravia, Hatillo Centre and Global Park, in La Aurora de Heredia.
