The OIJ arrested a woman in Nicoya Thursday night, who by day was a school teacher and by night was suspected of selling drugs.
The 49-year-old woman, indentified by her last name Zúñiga, was detained after the OIJ received several confidential calls, told that there was something strange happening at the woman’s home.
The callers said that at night she sold drugs in her home, in Nambí, after spending the day with students at the local school.
Authorities took the calls seriously and began keep an eye on her.
“It transpired that during the day she worked as a teacher in a school in the town of San Antonio de Nicoya and that after five in the afternoon, when she arrived at her home, she apparently used to sell crack and cocaine,” reported the OIJ.
On Thursday they waited for her to arrive from work and at 7 pm raided her home and arrested her.
