Model and tv host, Sharon Segura, was among the last people to visit Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, shortly before the fire that severely damaged the building.

The model was taking advantage of her free days to take a stroll through the “city of love” with her boyfriend (whom she has yet to reveal his name) and was in the church minutes before the fire alert was given.

n her Instagram stories, Sharon showed how she even lit a candle inside the cathedral and prayed for a few minutes while her oyfriend recorded her with a cell phone.

After doing a tour of the temple, she left to continue exploring the city.

An hour later, from outside the cathedral, while she was making a video she saw smoke coming out of the highest part of the structure.

“See, something is burning. Seriously, something is burning in the church. We are in Notre Dame and something is burning, they evicted us all,” she said in one of her videos.

After walking to another area she managed to better shot of where the fire was coming from the ceiling.

Sharon also showed her Instagram followers the moment the first fire truck arrived and said that she was a few meters from the cathedral and could even feel the heat from the strong flames.

Accompanying Sharon in Paris is Nancy Dobles and Ignacio Santos, night news anchor at channel 7’s Telenoticas; however, at the time they were in another part of the city visiting Saint-Michel.
