QCOSTARICA – No, this is no publicity stunt, no marketing ploy, it’s the real thing – rather than selling their internationally known Outback Jack’s Beach Bar N Grill, Outback Jack and Mrs Jack, who are retiring to write their books, thought it would be a lot more fun to run an essay contest for someone to win the restaurant!
All you need to do is, in 300 words or less, tell Jack why you would like to own the restaurant and live in Paradise in Costa Rica. The winner gets an ongoing business and can enjoy the beautiful beaches and jungle surroundings in one of the most tranquil places on earth.
Also prizes will be awarded to the Top ten finalists. It will be a US$3,000 all inclusive round trip ticket to Costa Rica, for a fun filled week of exciting adventures.
The restaurant, Outback Jack’s Beach Bar N Grill, is located in gorgeous Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, Costa Rica. It is just a stone throw from the beautiful Caribbean Sea.
Now put your thinking cap on and start writing. The entry Fee is only US$ 175 per essay.
Contest Rules say you must be 18 years old or older to enter and you do not have to live in Costa Rica to win. Contest will begin on October 12th, 2015, essay and the payment must be sent in before December 15th, 2015. Independent judges will select the 10 finalists essays, and their authors will be contacted by email on January 3rd, 2016.
Each entry must consist of an original essay written on the theme of “Why do you want to own the Outback Jack’s restaurant in a Caribbean tropical paradise in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, Costa Rica?” It has to have 300 words or less written in English, and to be posted online on this dedicated website https://www.outbackjacks.org/participate/.
