The Red Sismológica Nacional (RSN) – National Seismological Network – reports six earthquakes this weekend, ranging from 2.9 to 4.4 on the Richer Scale.
The strongest of the tremors occurred at 10am Sunday, some 77 kilometres west of Cabo Velas in Santa Cruz, Guanacase. The depth of the quake was 13 kms.
Of the six tremos, one was on Saturday, the others all on Sunday.
