To promote civic duty and democratic spirit in young Costa Rica, the Museo de los Niños (Children’s Museum) in San José, Gollo stores across the country and the Plaza Paraiso in Cartago, opened polling booths for those 12 and under to also choose the President.
At the Museo de lo Niños there is a concert and other actitivies to entertain children. Voting closes at 4pm.
At the Gollo stores voting also goes on at 4pm, while at the Plaza Paraiso voting will continue until 6.
