QNOTICIAS – The Comptrolle’s Office – Contraloría General de la República (CGR) – imposed a 20-day suspension without pay on Gabriela Chacón Fernández, executive president of the Instituto Nacional de Seguros (INS), for the irregular hiring of lawyers outside the institution.
Chacón was appointed on May 8 to replace Mónica Araya, who was dismissed by the President Rodrigo Chaves in a surprising manner.
