On close inspection, authorities in Costa Rica learned that at least three of the vehicles did not come with original body parts

and engine.

Inspectors found that the Rolls Royce and two Jaguars were not original as believed. In one case the engine in the vehicle belongs to different vehicle altogther and in the others,  they have aftermarket body parts.

The vehicles are part of a batch of 19 vehicles that will come up at public auction run by the Instituto Costarricense sobre Drogas (ICD) –  Costa Rican Drug Institute – the government body with the power to seize and dispose of assets obtained through criminal activity, including but not limited to drug trafficking and money laundering..

The Bodovsy vehicles are part of 2.500 confiscated cars in the hands of the ICD.
