(QCOSTARICA) The American Colony Committee invites all U.S. citizens and their immediate families to the 55th annual 4th of July Celebration.
This year’s picnic is on Saturday, July 4, 2015, from 9:00am to 1:00pm, on the grounds of the Cervecería, just off of the Autopista General Cañas, near the San José airport.
The picnic will feature the food, fun and patriotic spirit of years past. Nathan’s World Famous Coney Island hot dogs on the grill (not boiled) will feed the hungry.
This year, all U.S. citizens are encouraged to bring a Costa Rican friend to the picnic, to share in the experience of a good old fashioned 4th of July celebration.
The admission fee, applicable to U.S. citizens, family members and Tico guests, is ¢5000 (or US$10.00). Children aged 5 or under are admitted for free. There is no additional charge for any of the food, drinks, games, etc.
Identification is required and will be checked at the entrance gate. Please have your US passport (or other official identification for immediate family members who are not US citizens) ready when you reach the main entrance, along with the admission fee. Tico guests should have proof of Costa Rican citizenship.
