This year, all U.S. citizens are encouraged to bring a Costa Rican friend to the picnic, to share in the experience of a good old fashioned 4th of July celebration.

The admission fee, applicable to U.S. citizens, family members and Tico guests, is ¢5000 (or US$10.00). Children aged 5 or under are admitted for free. There is no additional charge for any of the food, drinks, games, etc.

Identification is required and will be checked at the entrance gate.  Please have your US passport (or other official identification for immediate family members who are not US citizens) ready when you reach the main entrance, along with the admission fee. Tico guests should have proof of Costa Rican citizenship.

For more details, go to the American Colony Committee website here.
