For those who didn’t know, the La Sabana was the site of Costa Rica’s international airport a few decades back. In the top right head corner of the photo you can see the airstrip that is still uncovered by trees, and in the lower rigtht is the building that once housed the terminal and control tower. Today it is the art museum.
