QCOSTARICA – Could this be a reality, a subway (Metro) in San José?

The Association of Engineers and Architects of Costa Rica (Colegio Federado de Ingenieros y Arquitectos de Costa Rica) seem to think so. Max Umaña, president of the Association says all that is necessary is “to agree together”.
Raul Bravo, who is part of the design team and management of the Panama Metro seems to think it viable.
Follow the Facebook group Queremos Metro en Costa Rica that is behind the movement to bring the Metro to Costa Rica.

can you imagine
these guys cannot even fix thier bridges.. and we expect them to build safe meto under ground system??
Oh goodie! A concrete lined underground river in wet season and a hunting ground for criminals in the dry.
Baaahhahaa they can’t even keep the water and electricity running. How about fix the primary bridge (La Plantina) entering your main city…been broken for at least 2 decades. They can’t keep the current train system running, the trains are broke down more than they run. When they do run they just smash into the cars in San Jose and Sabana. Not a chance any kind of a subway system will ever ever be built and run here. This is just a fantasy article.
They? who? If you are costa rican, you are part of it! It’s time to think different, it’s time to go out of the third world.
