The Autopista General Cañas is the Gran Area Metropolitana’s (GAM) major route in and out of San Jose, the Juan Santamaria (San Jose) Airport, Puntarenas and Guanacaste.
You just have to figure out the best time to be on this road to avoid the congestion.
