Man Found Dead In San Jose Hotel Believed To Be A Canadian

QCOSTARICA – Although his identity has not been revealed, the Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) collected evidence and delivered the body a 32 year-old man to the Forensic Laboratory after being found in his of the Hotel Grano de Oro, located in the Don Bosco neighbourhood in San Jose.

authorities believe the man to be a Canadian national.

Police were called in at 4:10pm Thursday afternoon, the bad was found with stand wound to the chest and arm. At the scene the OIJ found a weapon, a knife used to inflict the mortal wounds.

OIJ officials are not referring to the case, only saying it is under investigation.

Hotel staff is also keeping quiet.
