All the contestants took part in a casting call held on May 8 at the Teletica’s Marco Picao studio in La Sabana.

According to Teletica, more than 30 women attended the casting call, down from the more than 40 last year, aspiring for the title to take part in the Miss Universe pageant.

The ladies are required to complete with the rules of the contest, which this year it was emphasized that there should be no photos or videos that could compromise the image of the potential future representative of the Miss Universe crown, in which failure means automatic elimination from the competition.

Miss Costa Rica 2015 will be chosen on July 31, when Miss Costa Rica 2014 Karina Ramos will hand over the crown to the winner.
