Movistar Expects To Reach 40% of Costa Ricans With Its 4G Network

COSTA RICA NEWS — Movistar Costa Rica expects its 4G service to reach 40 percent of Costa Rica’s population by the end of this year.

The operator is currently expanding its 4G infrastructure in Cartago, Ciudad Quesada and Limon, among other cities.

The telco had launched its 4G LTE network in the country in June this year.

Movistar Costa Rica is fully owned by Spanish telecoms operator Telefonica.
