Only in Costa Rica: The Craziness of “Palmares”

It’s that time of year again, the middle of January and the craziness of Palmares festival is upon us.

San José is lame compared to Palmares, when many just let loose. It may be the guaro. It may be the heat. Or just that many are way from home and time to let loose.
