It was a wet day in Zapote yesterday. as the thousands who visited the Zapote Fair on Christmas day were met with intermittent rain.
Still, the rain did not stop the chinamos (food fair), rides and the bulls.

December is the start of the summer or “dry” season and though typical weather is a few degrees below the season average, very seldom do we get rain.
Today Wednesday, however, the sun is shining and no rain in the forecast.
The Zapote Fair runs until January 6.
