Rain, Winds And Cold Grip Central Valley and Caribbean

lluviasl

Thursday afternoon we were reminded that full dry or summer season is not upon us, rain, accompanied by winds and cold temperatures, blanked most of the Central Valley.

The Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN) – national weather service – tells us that the same weather will be with us today, Friday, and for most the weekend.

Meteorologist Gabriela Chinchilla explained winds can range between 50 km/h an 80 km/h, especially in the higher elevations an temperatures will dip a few degrees below average. Cloudy skies will be prevalent for most of the day today and tomorrow in the Central Valley, the Caribbean and Northern zones.

However, Guanacaste and most of the Central and South Pacific coast will be with clear skies and typical hot beach weather.
