COSTA RICA NEWS – La Selección, Costa Rica’s national football team is due back in the country on Tuesday, arriving at around 12:3pm at San José’s international airport in Alajuela.

Juan Carlos Bonilla, spokesperson for the Instituto Costarricense del Deporte (Icoder), said that although there was the possibillity of holding the homenaje (tribute) at the National Stadium, the event will take place in front of the statue of the León Cortés, in Sabana Norte, located on the east face of the Sabana Park.

According to Bonilla, the event will take place between 3pm and 4pm Tuesday, when the caravan with the team will arrive.

All the details will be made available at noon today (Monday) by officials of the Federación Costarricense de Fútbol (Fedefutbol) – Costa Rica’s footbal federation.
