QCOSTARICA – This is the photo of the line waiting arrivals to Costa Rica from Nicaragua. Sent to the Q by a reader, Elena Sevilla, who spent more that 3 hours in line on the Costa Rica side of the Peñas Blancas border, to get their entry stamp.
The usual two hour, one hour on each side, border crossing on Saturday took almost five hours. The massive return of Nicaraguans visiting their homeland for the holiday season was the reason.
