COSTA RICA EXTRA – The La Guacima racetrack (Autódromo La Guácima) in Alajuela has been converted into the theme park, Parque Viva, which opens its doors tomorrow, and billed as “centre of experiences unique in the region.”
The new Parque Viva, offers all the amenities for a great entertainment experience, that adjusts to the needs of the public, says group behind its development, Grupo Nacion.
The first concert will be Saturday April 11, by the Orquesta Filarmónica de Costa Rica (Philharmonic Orchestra) in the Coca-Cola Amphitheatre, “when the story of this venue begins to be written”.
The show opens to the public at 8:00pm, with a “romantic and nostalgic” music or yesteryear, in compositions that include the The Beatles and Juan Luis Guerra, unrestricted to gender or age.
