Canadian rock star and singer-songwriter Bryan Adams will be in Costa Rica, for one night, Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at Parque Viva in La Guácima de Alajuela, for his first show in the country.

The performance is part of the “Shine a Light” world tour, that began in January 2019 in the Avenir Centre, Canada and ends on March 29, 2020, in Denmark and include several stops in Latin America, such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru and Uruguay in addition to Costa Rica.

Bryan Guy Adams, now 59 years old (born November 5, 1959, in Kingston, Ontario). He rose to fame in Canada and the United States with his 1983 album Cuts Like a Knife and turned into a global star with his 1984 album Reckless, which produced some of his best known songs, including “Run to You”, “Summer of ’69” and his first number one, “Heaven”. In 1991, he released the album Waking Up the Neighbours, which included the song “(Everything I Do) I Do It for You”. The song became a worldwide hit and reached number 1 in many countries.

His “Bryan Adams Foundation” promotes projects and education among young people.

Tickets to his Costa Rica date are on general sale now, at La Boleteria, ranging from ¢25,000 colones to ¢85,000.
