Comic Con Costa Rica returns with international guests and more family activities

The convention will take place on October 24 and 25 at the Convention Center, featuring video games, comics, cosplay, and free experiences

Q COSTA RICA — Comic Con Costa Rica will return on October 24 and 25 with a family-friendly event that will expand its free activities and interactive spaces.

The 2026 edition will bring together international guests associated with franchises such as One Piece, Sonic, Arcane, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Among the guests will be Jeff Ward, Jennifer English, Ryan Drummond, and Reed Shannon, as well as cosplayers and graphic artists.

“Families share a love for video games, movies, and pop culture, so they want to experience it all together as a family,” commented Manu Quirós, the event’s producer.

The convention will also feature gaming zones, interactive activities, and spaces to meet figures and purchase collectibles.

Quirós explained that the organization also reduced the number of commercial booths to expand circulation spaces and offer greater visibility.

“We have also limited the number of commercial booths we will have,” Quirós commented.

The event will be held at the Costa Rica Convention Center and will have options for general admission tickets, promotional packages, and a VIP experience.
