Chaves discredits statements from ‘Bank of America’ that warn about the elimination of controls with the referendum plan

Q24N –  Despite exalting in recent months the content of a Bank of America report on the national economy, President Rodrigo Chaves this Wednesday discredited an unfavorable part contained in a new report from that same financial house, which warns of the Government’s intentions to reduce the controls of the Comptroller General of the Republic (CGR) through the proposed law to call a national referendum.

The prez says that analysis are based on “editorials from La Nación” and interviews from the Comptroller, although months ago he praised the report from that financial house, from which the Government took the reference to “jaguar.”
