TODAY PANAMA | Copa Airlines will begin two weekly nonstop flights between Holguin (Cuba) and Panama City, Panama, during the second quarter of 2016.

With the addition of Holguin, Copa serves 74 destinations in 31 countries in North, Central and South America and the Caribbean.

Holguin is Copa’s third Cuba destination. The airline already flies to La Habana (Havana) and Santa Clara.

“We are pleased to announce Holguín as our third destination in Cuba, which will enhance connectivity between this extraordinary country and the rest of the continent, and contribute to the development of tourism and trade opportunities,” said Pedro Heilbron, CEO of Copa Airlines. “We are committed to expanding connectivity to Cuba, helping raise its profile as a tourism and cultural epicenter of the region.”

The Holguin flights will be on Tuesdays and Saturdays, deaprting Panama’s Tocumen International at 9:01 a.m., arriving at the Frank País International Airport in Holguin at 12:31 p.m. The return flight,departs at 1:21 p.m., and arrives in Panama at 2:47 p.m.
